When is your street
swept next?

Type an address and see the next sweeping days the city has on record for that block, side of the street included.

Straight from the City of San Diego's own street-sweeping dataset. The address you type isn't stored and goes nowhere but the city.

Which side, which week

Plenty of blocks are swept on the 2nd and 4th Monday on one side and the 2nd and 4th Tuesday on the other. Knowing your street is swept is the easy part. Remembering which morning, for the side you parked on tonight, is where the $83.50 tickets come from.

Sweeping also skips city holidays and picks up on the next scheduled day, which throws off anyone keeping count in their head.

Why the dates can look odd

A lot of blocks are swept on something like the 1st Friday of odd-numbered months — six times a year, on a day that drifts. That is exactly the sort of schedule nobody remembers, which is why it's worth checking rather than guessing.

Where the city's own wording can't be read confidently, this shows you their exact words instead of inventing a date.

This is the manual version

ParkGuard does this automatically: it notices where you parked, checks the curb, and warns you before you'd be ticketed — sweeping, meters, time limits and permit zones. Saving your spot and reading signs with the camera work anywhere; official city schedules are being added city by city.
